Character Details

Bran is a retired warrior who used to be the rí of the desert country of Alba. Among the most powerful warriors among his people, he successfully held off an invasion against the neighbouring empire of Dresilia, and pushed them back enough to take back all the land they had occupied. Afterwards, he was nominated as Rí of Alba and ruled over it for a few years. However, his decision to spare the life of a Dresilian general who'd been ousted from his country led some to believe he was too lenient on his enemies, and with Alba's unity in a fragile state as it was, his rule gradually became undone, and before long, he faced challenge after challenge from hardliners until his eventual overthrow. Bran fled to Selenia with Deirdre, his Aggron wife, and settled in Selenia where he began a new life as a woodworker and father of two.

RP Information

Bran is happy to reminisce on the antics he got up to with his clansmon and the warriors he fought alongside in his past. He likes to indulge in vices like drinking and gambling, and is fond of wisecracks and joking around. That's not to say he doesn't have his moments of wisdom from his time as a warrior and a rí, and knows his way around philosophy, diplomacy and what he believes in as an ex-ruler. He also has a soft spot for his family, and will happily talk about them.

Bran has great physical strength and heavy lifting is his forte. He's almost too strong in that sense, and has broken a good few door handles in his time. He's not afraid to be intimidating, and has struck fear into the hearts of smaller enemy 'mons that he's faced in the past.
